Graduate students often have assistantships in their graduate program or department. These appointments offer opportunities for students to engage in research, teaching, and other projects during their graduate study.

- Florida Law
A student may qualify as a Florida resident for tuition purposes if they meet the residency qualifications based on Florida law.
- Florida Residency
To qualify as a Florida resident for tuition purposes, the student (dependent or independent) must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident alien, or a legal alien granted indefinite stay by U.S. Immigration, and must have established physical and legal residence in Florida for a least one year.

Fulbright awards approximately 8,000 grants annually to recent graduates, young professionals, master’s and doctoral candidates, as well as college and university faculty to become scholars.

- Immunization Form
The Immunization Form must be completed before registering for classes at the university, although it is not necessary or considered during the admission process.

- Tax ID Requirement
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is the U.S. government institution that oversees the withholding and filing of taxes. International students are not always exempt from income taxes in the United States.

Applicants to programs at UCF must provide official test scores.
