A 2015 survey of research administrators nationwide revealed that research administration leaders will be retiring in very high numbers within the next five to 10 years. Even today their exit from the workforce is creating a pressing need for well-prepared research administrators to step into leadership positions in industry and at universities, hospitals, research centers, government agencies and other organizations. The program at the University of Central Florida equips students with the unique knowledge and professional skills needed by the research administration community now and in the future.
